American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN)

ACS CAN is the nation’s leading cancer advocacy organization that is working every day to make cancer issues a top national priority.

Many of the most important decisions about cancer are made outside of your doctor’s office. Lawmakers play a critical role in determining how much progress our country makes toward defeating cancer. ACS CAN empowers regular people to be part of the growing national movement that is fighting back against cancer.

ACS CAN, the nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society supports proven measures that are helping to defeat cancer. We mobilize cancer advocates to hold lawmakers accountable to their constituents for the decisions they make related to cancer research, prevention, early detection, and treatment.

Together, we CAN defeat cancer!

About Us

For more than 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Join us to help finish the fight.
