Where does my donation go?

100% of the net proceeds raised by the Doctors of Distinction Golf Invitational will go directly toward cancer research, programs and services. To learn more about the American Cancer Society go to cancer.org.

If weather is a factor, how will I receive event updates?

Announcements will be recorded and available by calling the American Cancer Society office at 631.300.3141 should weather be a factor the day of the event. Event announcements will be posted to this website as often as possible. Piping Rock Club will also have information regarding the tournament 516.676.2332.

Can I use cash for purchases the day of the event?

We will accept cash at the Doctors of Distinction Golf Invitational. Credit cards and checks payable to the American Cancer Society will be accepted as well.

What is the attire for Doctors of Distinction Golf Invitational?

The Piping Rock Club’s dress code includes proper golf attire and must be adhered to at all times throughout the day. No jeans, t-shirts, or cargo shorts are permitted. Full club amenities will be available for participants and will include access to the men's and women's locker rooms. Business attire is appropriate for the Cocktail Reception.
